I re-read this gem before every Whole30 I do or as often as I need to. I keep the hard copy close by and I have the Audible version to listen to as I clean the house, exercise or am in the car.
Reading i
t helps me refocus and set my intentions for my upcoming reset.
Oh, and I always set an intention before every reset.
I get asked all the time why I read it over and over again if the book doesn’t change.
Well, the book doesn’t change.. but I do.
I continue to learn, to grow and to evolve so with each reading of this book, I walk away with something brand new to apply to my life and to my food freedom.
See, I’m not the same girl that started The Whole30 2 and a half years ago, an this is perhaps my most treasured non-scale victory that I have experienced. It is not because I am ashamed of her but she is healing now and ever evolving.
I pray that I never stop learning and the day I think I have everything figured out I will be scared. This journey is a once in a lifetime thing and I want to soak up every single thing there is to absorb while I am here.
So teach me all of the things. Read and re-read. Open your mind to new perspectives and be accepting of change… and you might just surprise yourself at the amount of growth you experience.
